The historic market town of St Neots is ideally situated on the main hub of the A428 and A1. Just 45 minutes by train from London and 20 minutes by car from Cambridge, the town is well served by public transport, including regular buses between Bedford and  Cambridge. The nearest airport is Stansted, approximately one hour’s drive away.

By car

The fast A1 and A428 link St Neots to London (57 miles) in the south and the A1 links to Peterborough (28 miles) to the north. Cambridge is just 20 miles away on the A428, which is a main hub route for visitors from East Anglia.

Parking

Parking is FREE on Sundays and after 6pm in Huntingdonshire District Council car parks. You can find the map of car parks and information on times and prices here.

By train

St Neots rail station is only 40 minutes, approximately, direct to London Kings Cross and has regular services to many stations. Click here for National Rail.

By bus

By water

It’s not the fastest method, but if you are taking a leisurely time, the River Great Ouse passes through St Neots on its way downstream from Bedford and out to King’s Lynn. There are plenty of public overnight mooring stops.
