The three lakes at Wintringham Waters, which support a mosaic of habitats that link into the adjacent Wintringham Brook and the wider nature corridors, have been designed to allow residents and visitors to immerse themselves in nature without disturbing it.

Sandstone paths, benches and large bird hides with information panels to help identify species provide an opportunity to explore the water’s edge, take a break and watch the wildlife. The lakes form part of a 4km leisure trail around the first phase of Wintringham, with wayfinding boards providing an insight into local heritage and nature.
