A brand-new community festival is coming to Eaton Socon this summer, as Eaton Socon Football Club prepares to host the very first SoconFest on Sunday 23rd August 2026.

Taking place our club’s ground down River Road, SoconFest promises a full day of live music, great food and drink, family entertainment and children’s inflatables, all designed to bring the local community together while supporting the football club’s future.

The festival will showcase an impressive line-up of talented local musicians and bands, celebrating the thriving live music scene across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and the surrounding area.

Headlining the event are The Arcades, one of the region’s most popular bands and featuring one of Eaton Socon FC’s very own members. Joining them throughout the day will be alternative rock favourites The Heretics, acoustic performer Carl Redman, saxophone-led local band Weald Thing, East Anglian psych-rock outfit Eels! Eels! Eels!, and rising local singer James Ottoway, who has been building a following through his energetic live performances and TikTok appearances.

Alongside the live entertainment, visitors can enjoy a variety of food and drink vendors, children’s activities, inflatables and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the festival atmosphere with family and friends.

As this is the first ever SoconFest, the club hopes it will become an annual fixture in the local calendar, bringing people together while helping to raise funds that will support ongoing improvements to the football club and its facilities.
