Lost Chimes are London-based musicians Gemma and Nicky Kirk. Stunning vocals, intricate guitar playing and poignant lyrics combine to produce songs that provoke, soothe and crystallise life.

They create dreamlike indie folk with a cutting edge and are renowned for their spine-tingling, emotive live performances. Their chemistry, both musical and personal, adds depth to their songwriting, creating a warm, captivating sound that is atmospheric, heartfelt and authentic.

Their self-titled album was released in May 2021 – an alluring soundscape, filled with the ebb and flow of friends, family, life and loss.  Their second album, “Now I Swim” was released in June 2025.  With hauntingly beautiful melodies, intricate guitar work and evocative lyrics, “Now I Swim” delves deep into the human experience, weaving tales of resilience and hope that transcend time and place.

Lost Chimes have played at several local venues including Buckfest and West Fest and they are regulars at the Vinyl Revival Store’s Music in The Garden
