People’s Emergency Briefing

Showing of People’s Emergency Briefing film and chat.
In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. That evidence is now on the public record. This has now been made into a film called the People’s Emergency Briefing, especially designed to be watched by communities and workplaces up and down the land, alongside other members of your local community and then discussed together. We cannot think of a more important contribution we can make at the Environmental Education Centre, than offering the local community the opportunity to see this film.
Please note this film is rated 16 and we would ask you to consider whether this film is suitable for your young person if they are under 18.
The session will begin at 6.00pm at Paxton Pits Environmental Education Centre which is further down the road from the main Visitors Centre opposite Bill’s Bench right at the start of the Heron Trail. What3Words location Fails.Disco.Blotchy
The film will last about 50 minutes and the film showing will be followed by an opportunity to discuss the film with other attendees.
Refreshments provided.
