Award-winning St Neots lifestyle store expands to new premises
Rebel and Ashby, the Huntingdonshire lifestyle store recently crowned the best in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk, has relocated to larger premises within Cross Keys Mews, St Neots.
The independent retailer was declared winner at the regional finals of the 2025 Muddy Stilettos Awards, which celebrate independent businesses across 35 counties. The store now awaits the national finals, where editors will judge the ‘best of the best’ in each category, with overall winners announced on 25 June 2025.
Known for its bold, quirky style and carefully curated interiors, Rebel and Ashby has built a loyal following since opening 18 months ago. Owner Kerry Ashby said the store has “carved out a niche for those who love interiors with a twist.”
“When I opened my shop 18 months ago, I had no idea what to expect, if it would be successful and if people would visit,” Kerry explained. “We’ve outgrown our current space, and this move gives us the chance to do more of what we love.”
The new premises offers more space for the brand’s personality-packed range of unexpected finds. “Whether you’re after a standout piece for your living room or a fun gift, the new shop will have even more to explore,” Kerry added.
This latest achievement follows previous recognition for the business, including being shortlisted in the lifestyle business category of the 2023 Muddy Stilettos Awards and winning Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday (SBS) competition in February.
To mark the reopening, Richard Slade, Mayor of St Neots, attended the launch event to officially open the new premises.
